As of October, Ukrainian entrepreneurs have received loans for a total sum of UAH 10.4 billion under the government program “Affordable loans at 5-7-9%”, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has informed on Facebook.
“When the government introduced changes to the program “5-7-9″ in May and June, we said that it would be a success if small and medium-sized businesses got UAH 10 billion worth of affordable loans until the end of 2020. Now it is October, and our entrepreneurs have already received loans for a total sum of UA 10.4 billion under the program. Almost 4.5 thousand enterprises in the sectors of agriculture, trade, technology and industrial production have received an opportunity to develop their own business due to this state program,” Shmyhal wrote.
He has added that in the draft state budget for 2021, the government has set an unprecedented amount for the affordable loans program for SMEs – UAH 12 billion. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
