Ukrgasbank’s assets have grown by UAH 33.5 billion, or by 28%, since the beginning of the year, the bank’s press service has reported, with reference to the National Bank of Ukraine’s statistics for January-August.
In particular, in the first eight months of 2020, Ukrgasbank increased its assets by UAH 33.5 billion (+28%), PrivatBank – by UAH 27.4 billion (+8.7%), Ukreximbank – by UAH 26.4 billion (+18.8%), UkrSibbank – by UAH 11.4 billion (+21.4%) and First Ukrainian International Bank – by UAH 11.2 billion (+20.3%).
Hryvnia assets also grew the most significantly at Ukrgasbank – by UAH 22 billion. As of September 1, the state bank’s assets reached almost UAH 153 billion.
The Corporate Governance Professional Association and the CSR Development Center, with the support of the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), have recently assessed Ukrainian companies for transparency in the corporate governance system and corporate social responsibility. According to experts, the state-owned Ukrgasbank took first place in terms of the highest disclosure levels for the corporate governance component. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
