In January-July, Ukraine’s fish and crustacean exports grew by 23.3% YoY, to over $18.7 million, the press service of the Ukrainian State Agency of Fisheries reported referring to data provided by the State Statistics Service.
Most exports of Ukrainian fish and crustaceans were delivered to Germany (for $4.2 million; 22% of total exports), Denmark ($3.53 million; 19%), Japan ($1.82 million), Lithuania ($ 1.63 million), Turkey ($1.18 million) and the Netherlands ($1.02 million).
The press service of the state agency reminded that Ukraine exported 1,415 tons of fresh, chilled or frozen fish fillet and other fish meat worth more than $9.1 million in January-June, up by $1.4 million (19%) YoY. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
