Tax revenues remained at the same level as in July last year, though on a monthly basis they increased by 8%, to EUR 734.2 million.
The state received EUR 102.3 million of income tax in July, which is 6% higher than during the same time last year and 16% higher than in June. As a result, the state received income tax by private persons, which decreased by 3%, but from legal persons it increased by 21%.
The inflow of the turnover tax fell by 5%; compared to June, it increased by 7% to EUR 209.4 million.
The state received EUR 326.2 million of social security taxes in July, the same amount as a year ago. Compared with June, receipts increased by 4%.
The state received EUR 2 million in gambling taxes in July, down by 9% YoY, but up by 32% MoM.
EUR 25 million of alcohol taxes was received in July, up by 86%.
EUR 3.7 million of customs was paid in July, down by 14%. Compared with June, however, excise receipts recovered and increased by 13%. (ERR/Business World Magazine)
