In January-May, Tajikistan imported more than 36.1 thousand tons of wheat flour valued at $9 million, declared the Customs Service on July 8.
The supplies of flour increased by 64.9% on weight basis compared with the same period in 2019 and by 75% in monetary terms.
According to the announcement, in January-May, Tajikistan decreased the import of wheat by 8.1%, to 406.4 thousand tons (more than $98 million).
The share of wheat and flour reached 9.8% in the total imports of Tajikistan in the reporting period. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
