The repair season continues on state roads in Latvia. Drivers have to keep in mind possible traffic restrictions on many state and regional roads. Currently repair work continues on Jurmala, Tallinn, Vidzeme, Daugavpils and Jelgava highways, as reported state road maintenance company Latvijas Valsts celi (LVC).
On Jurmala Highway (A10) road traffic is organized in both directions with one expanded lane each. Road traffic organization in the two-level traffic hub with Riga bypass (A5) may change every day.
Road repairs on Tallinn highway is organized on the section of Saulkrasti bypass. This means traffic volumes are increased and drivers can expect spending more time on the road.
Among regional roads, the biggest amount of construction work is currently taking place on P108 road between Ventspils and Ziras. Repair work has also commenced on regional roads: Koknese-Ergli (P79) and Valka-Viresi (P23). Drivers have to keep in mind certain speed restrictions along on these roads.
