Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine Joel Lion has said air traffic between Ukraine and Israel is not expected to resume in the near future due to coronavirus incidence statistics.
He said he had offered a pilot project to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, but then it turned out the statistics on the coronavirus in Ukraine was disappointing. So, this issue may be discussed next month.
The ambassador said it was necessary to wait for a decline in the statistics in Ukraine. According to Lion, another important factor is the number of COVID-19 tests that are conducted in Ukraine. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
