State Employment Service said the number of unemployed in Ukraine grew by 64% YoY as of May 20, to 501,000 people.
At the same time, the number of vacancies is 51,000. This is almost 55% fewer than last year, the report said.
The average wage for existing vacancies is UAH 7,000 ($262).
Today there is a demand in the processing industry (17% of the total number of vacancies), trade (15%), transport and courier services (11%). (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
