The Deposit Guarantee Fund of Ukraine has completed the liquidation of PJSC Ukrbusinessbank, according to the Fund’s press service.
“On May 8, an entry was made to the United State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations to register the termination PJSC Ukrbusinessbank as a legal entity, thus, the process of liquidation of the bank was complete,” reads the statement.
According to Article 52 of the Law, creditors’ claims against the bank, unsatisfied due to the insufficiency of its property, are considered to be repaid. Thus, the powers of the Deposit Guarantee Fund as a liquidator of PJSC Ukrbusinessbank have been terminated.
As reported, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in April 2015 decided to revoke a banking license of PJSC Ukrbusinessbank and made a decision to liquidate the bank. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
