Large- and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine received UAH 422.235 billion, or $15.5 billion, in profit before tax in 2019, up by 26% YoY.
Financial performance of Ukraine’s profitable enterprises grew by 10%, to UAH 596.284 billion ($21.9 billion), while that of loss-making companies shrank by 15%, to minus UAH 174.050 billion ($6.4 billion), according to the Ukrainian State Statistics Service website. Moreover, the share of unprofitable Ukrainian enterprises remained at 21.7% reported a year earlier.
The State Statistics Service said the report does not include data from Russian-occupied areas in Crimea, Sevastopol and parts of Luhansk and Donetsk regions. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
