Wizz Air, the Hungarian budget airline, has extended the suspension of all flights to and from Vilnius until April 30.
“The decision was made as a response to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic,” the statement by the company reads.
All affected passengers will be informed, Wizz Air said. If they bought tickets directly on the company’s website or mobile app, they would receive 120% refunds into their Wizz Air accounts to spend on the airline’s services and products over the next 24 months.
Passengers who bought tickets from travel agencies should contact them.
Wizz Air previously announced it was suspending all flights to and from Lithuania as of March 17 after the government decided to close the country’s border to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. (LRT/Business World Magazine)
