As of March 1, funds accumulated by the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Ukraine amounted to UAH 11.26 billion, according to the fund’s press service.
“The total amount of funds accumulated by the Fund as of March 1, made up UAH 11,256.7 million. In January-February, revenues to the Fund from regular fees totaled UAH 1,005.8 million,” reads the statement.
In February, depositors of insolvent banks received UAH 24.1 million within the guaranteed refund program.
In January-February, UAH 45 million was repaid to depositors within the guaranteed refund program.
As of March 1, the total sum of guaranteed refunds paid to the depositors of insolvent banks, transferred to the management of the Fund in line with the Law of Ukraine “On the system of guaranteeing deposits of individuals” (as of February 26, 2012), made up UAH 89,785.6 million.
