In January-November UAH 7.878 billion were transferred to the accounts of insolvent banks, according to the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Ukraine.
“Of this the largest sum totaling UAH 6,832.0 million was received from the sale of assets of banks being under liquidation, UAH 928.2 million from repayment of loans, UAH 100.9 million from property rent, and UAH 16.6 million from redemption of securities,” reads the report.
In November insolvent banks received UAH 743.2 million, including UAH 682.8 million from the sale of assets. The largest revenues from the sale of assets came from: JSC VTB Bank – UAH 358.5 million, JSC Delta Bank – UAH 83.2 million, PJSC Bank Finance and Credit – UAH 39.5 million, PJSC BG Bank – UAH 34.8 million, and JSC CB Nadra – UAH 27.7 million.
The total amount of revenues from banks being under liquidation included UAH 55.6 million from repayment of loans and UAH 4.8 million from property rent. At the same time, no revenues were received from redemption of securities. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
