On December 10 construction company ReRe buve 1 handed over to State Real Estate (VNI) the building of New Riga Theatre, as confirmed by VNI chairman Andris Varna.
“A compromise and agreement have been reached with the construction company. It was done in the interest of society. The contract is over and the building returned to us yesterday evening,” said Varna.
He also said the procurement for reconstruction of New Riga Theatre continued and was set to conclude in January 2020.
Varna adds that there is a promising amount of interest for the procurement from construction companies.
“There is interest – both the building and documents are viewed,” adds the chairman of VNI. (BNN/Business World Magazine)
