High-quality roads and motorways will connect all major cities and regional centers in Ukraine in three to five years, Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk says.
He noted the key point was personnel upgrades. He has called on the new head of Ukravtodor road construction agency, Oleksandr Kubrakov to hire new people for top posts at regional offices.
“I urge the new leaders of Ukravtodor and Ukrtransbezpeka to update leadership in the regions as quickly as possible, because I am convinced that the people who have worked there so far, overwhelmingly, either represented the interests of shadow players or turned a blind eye to this,” Honcharuk said.
Better personnel policy will lower the cost of road construction and operation, the minister stresses. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
