The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) bought $90 million on the interbank forex market from October 21 to October 25.
This is three times more than during the previous week, the NBU said on its website.
The NBU said it did not sell foreign currency last week.
As a result of the recent purchases, the amount of foreign currency bought by the NBU since the beginning of the year has exceeded forex sales by $3.975 billion, or 9-fold. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
