The minimum wage in Ukraine has tripled over the past three years and now amounts to UAH 4,173, Social Policy Minister of Ukraine Andriy Reva has stated.
“Thanks to the laws developed and adopted over the past three years, the minimum wage in Ukraine has increased 3-fold. Today it amounts to UAH 4,173 per month,” Reva said.
According to him, the growth of the minimum wage led to an increase in the average monthly wage in Ukraine.
“In 2016-2019 the average salary in Ukraine doubled. In the first half of 2019 it amounted to UAH 10,027 per month,” the minister noted. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
