Passenger traffic at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport in January-July amounted to 1.59 million people, up by 6% YoY, according to a statement posted on the airport’s website.
During the specified period, the number of flights grew by 1%, to 17,008, including 14,246 international flights and 2,762 domestic flights. A total of 1.549 million passengers were serviced on international flights and 41,200 passengers on domestic flights.
The most popular international destinations in January-July were Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt), Warsaw (Poland), Minsk (Belarus), Ankara (Turkey), Vienna (Austria), Rome (Italy), and Berlin (Germany). The most popular domestic destinations were Odesa, Zaporizhia, and Lviv. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
