As of June 19, Ukrainian agrarians have harvested early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 79 thousand ha, and produced 229 thousand tons of the grains. The average yield totaled 2.91 ton/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Six regions only started the harvesting campaign of early grains, namely: Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Odessa and Kherson regions.
In particular, the harvest volumes of winter wheat totaled 17 thousand tons, with the yield of 2.74 ton/ha, and the harvested areas of 6 thousand ha, while the production of winter barley reached 204 thousand tons, with the yield of 3.02 ton/ha, and the areas of 68 thousand ha.
Also, agrarians harvested 8 thousand tons of peas throughout 5 thousand ha, with the average yield of 1.71 ton/ha.
In addition, Ukraine harvested 2 thousand tons of winter rapeseed throughout 1 thousand ha, with the yield of 1.21 ton/ha. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
