UAH 42.6 billion worth of value added tax (VAT) was reimbursed to large taxpayers in January-April, up by 34% YoY, according the press service of the State Fiscal Service’s Office of Large Taxpayers.
Compared to 2018, the share of large businesses in the VAT refund across Ukraine grew and exceeded 74% of the total amount of compensation (the share of large businesses amounted to 70% on average in 2018).
In the context of regions, the tax reimbursement to large taxpayers by the Office of Large Taxpayers in January-April was as follows: Kyiv – UAH 15.4 billion, Zaporizhzhia – UAH 10.6 billion, Dnipro – UAH 8.0 billion, Odesa – UAH 3.2 billion, Kharkiv – UAH 3.1 billion, and Lviv – UAH 2.3 billion.
