Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Serhiy Kryvonos has said that six months are needed to fully reform State Concern Ukroboronprom, which includes more than 130 state-owned enterprises of the military-industrial complex.
Kryvonos said that this was exactly the required term to restart to operation of Ukroboronprom, if the Verkhovna Rada considered the submitted draft law as soon as possible.
“If MPs consider and adopt this bill as soon as possible, and based on the results of the scheduled audit, it will take six months to reform Ukroboronprom,” the NSDC deputy secretary said.
President Pero Poroshenko, in turn, noted that he had the right to define this document as urgent.
According to Poroshenko, this means that the parliament must consider the document as soon as possible. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
