Ukraine’s large and medium-sized plants produced 8.6 thousand tons of mayonnaise in January, up by 1.2% YoY (8.5 thousand tons). In addition, its output hit a three-year high.
Taking into account that the Ukrainian mayonnaise market is focused on the domestic consumer, no substantial production growth can be expected now. The market is saturated with various mayonnaises, and the competitive struggle for the buyer is won by manufactures improving their product ranges.
UkrAgroConsult forecasts mayonnaise production in 2019 to remain at 123-125 thousand tons. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
