Ukraine’s National Power Company Ukrenergo is implementing more than a hundred investment projects worth over EUR 1.5 billion, the company’s press service has reported on Facebook.
According to the report, all of these projects are aimed at modernizing the Ukrainian power system, preparing it for integration with the European power grid, and transforming Ukrenergo into a transmission system operator of the European model.
Ukrenergo earlier held public discussions on the draft regulation on the submission and publication of data in electricity markets on the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform. The publication of data about the operation of the Ukrainian energy market on the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform is one of Ukrenergo’s main commitments as part of the integration of Ukraine’s power grid into the ENTSO-E Continental European Power System, which is also enshrined in the Treaty establishing the Energy Community.
