The Deposit Guarantee Fund last week sold insolvent banks’ assets worth UAH 16.87 million, the fund’s press service reports.
“Last week (January 8-11) the assets of 16 banks, which are in the management of the fund, were sold for UAH 16.87 million,” reads the report.
In particular, UAH 8.85 million was received from repayment of the fund creditors’ claims and UAH 7.92 million from the sale of main banks’ assets. Also, UAH 0.08 million was received from the direct sale of banks’ property, UAH 0.03 million from the sale of other assets.
As reported, the Fund last week planned to sell insolvent banks’ assets for a total sum of UAH 10.23 billion. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
