In September-November 2018, Ukrainian farmers exported 4,663 tons of corn, up by 112% YoY.
“In three months of 2018-2019 MY (September-November), Ukraine exported 4,663 tons of corn, up by 112% YoY (2,202 tons). It is also a record high for this period since 2013-2014 MY,” the press service of the UkrAgroConsult consulting agency reports.
The main directions of Ukrainian corn exports were the European Union, China and Libya. Ukrainian corn exports to the EU grew more than 4-fold, while the exports to Libya increased by 110%. Turkey boosted imports of Ukrainian corn by 125%. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
