The average monthly salary in Ukraine amounted to UAH 9,063 in the third quarter of 2018, up by 24.7% YoY, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
The highest average monthly salary in the third quarter was recorded in the air transport industry (UAH 39,439; +11%), in the financial and insurance sectors (UAH 16,205; +23.3%), and in the information and telecommunications sectors (UAH 14,282; +18.4%).
The lowest average monthly salary in the third quarter was recorded in the postal and courier sector (UAH 5,068; +26.9%), and in the healthcare and social assistance (UAH 5,588 thousand, +17.4%). (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
