The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has revoked banking and general licenses for foreign exchange operations of JSC BM Bank, the central bank’s press service reports.
“The National Bank of Ukraine by the Board’s decision dated November 6, 2017, No.749-rsh, revoked the banking and general licenses for foreign exchange operations from JSC BM Bank and excluded this bank from the State Register of Banks. The bank decided to voluntarily terminate its banking activities without losing the status of a legal entity,” reads the report.
The NBU notes that BM Bank is the sixth bank that has taken such a decision. The NBU has already revoked the licenses of PJSC DV BANK, PJSC CB Finansovyi Partner, PJSC Apeks-Bank, PJSC Industrial and Financial Bank, PJSC Credit Optima Bank under the same procedure.
