The Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine has compiled and approved the Forecast Balance of Electricity for 2019, according to which an increase in electricity exports from Ukraine is projected at 5.3%, to 6.42 billion kWh in the next year compared to the Forecast Balance for the current year of June 15.
According to the document, in 2019 Ukraine is expected to increase exports to the countries of Eastern Europe by 3.8%, to 5.43 billion kWh, including to Poland by 6.2%, to 1.44 billion kWh compared with the forecast for 2018, the ministry’s press service reports.
It is also reported that electricity exports to Moldova will be increased by 13.6%, to 1.08 billion kWh in 2019. According to the ministry, Ukraine will not import electricity in 2019. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
