Ukraine’s state and government-guaranteed debt in August shrank by 1.1%, or by $0.86 billion, to $74.85 billion.
At the same time, the country’s debt in the hryvnia equivalent increased by 4.2%, or by UAH 91 billion, to UAH 2.117 trillion, the Finance Ministry of Ukraine has reported.
Since the beginning of the year the debt has decreased by 1.9% and in dollars and by 1.2% in the hryvnia equivalent. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
