Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman says Ukraine needs about 10 years to become a self-sufficient economy.
“We will need some time to become self-sufficient from the economic point of view. I can cope with this task within 10 years. This means that our economy will undergo positive changes every year,” the prime minister said at the 13th meeting of heads of Ukraine’s foreign diplomatic institutions held in Kyiv on August 28.
“Today we borrow financial resources on the international markets in order to repay old debts, perhaps, to re-borrow funds on better conditions and to gain time for the national economy to grow and for Ukraine to become an absolutely self-sufficient state,” he said. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
