Gnidava Sugar Refinery continues to modernize production. The installation of “Babbini” beet pulp presses is in the final stage. The equipment is intended for pulp spinning after diffusion, the deputy chairman of the investment board Glib Galkevych reported.
“Two thirds of equipment have already been installed, we begin to bring it all in operation. We have dismantled old buildings to install the latest equipment and build new ones. Of course, this entails certain costs, but gives the necessary space for future construction”, he said.
Glib Galkevych assures that this modernization has already provided all possible ways for further development of the company. “Ukrainian Technology Company” is engaged in the modernization and installation of the latest equipment.
New installed presses will have a significant impact on energy efficiency by reducing the time of diffusion. Thus, it will become possible to reduce the number of non-sugars that have to pass through the entire processing, so the ratio of sugars to non-sugars will increase significantly.
