A trade volume between Ukraine and Slovenia increased by 31% YoY in 2017, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said during a joint press conference with President of Slovenia Borut Pahor in Kyiv.
According to him, the growth became possible due to a deep and comprehensive free trade zone.
Poroshenko also says that Slovenian business actively invests in Ukraine, participates in tenders and wins them, in particular those announced by municipalities.
The head of state stresses that the intensity of bilateral contacts between Ukraine and Slovenia is “unusually high” now.
The president also thanked Slovenia for supporting Ukraine’s territorial integrity and independence. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
