Ukraine’s State Fiscal Service (SFS) reimbursed UAH 43.6 billion worth of value added tax (VAT) in January-April, the SFS press service has reported on its Facebook page.
“UAH 43.6 billion worth of VAT was reimbursed to taxpayers in January-April. Compared to the respective period last year, the amount of compensation grew by 14.7%, or by UAH 5.6 billion. UAH 38 billion worth of VAT was returned to payers in the first four months of 2017,” the report says.
According to statistics, taxpayers have been recording the growth of amounts of value added tax accrued on a monthly basis. In particular, UAH 14.9 billion worth of VAT was accrued in January, UAH 16.4 billion in February, and UAH 24.8 billion in March.
This year’s amounts of VAT accrued also exceeded last year’s figures. In particular, UAH 14.3 billion worth of VAT was accrued in January 2017, UAH 13.8 billion in February 2017, and UAH 13.8 billion in March 2017. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
