Kapital Bank will have launched its first virtual branch by the end of this year, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Bank Nahid Zeynalov said at the presentation.
According to Zeynalov, today Kapital Bank is the largest in the country by number of branches. The bank has over 100 branches and offices in Azerbaijan, and its customer base exceeds three million individuals and legal entities.
“At the end of last year the Supervisory Board of Kapital Bank approved a strategy for 2018-2020, where the development of digital banking was indicated as a priority area. In this regard we have launched an updated version of our mobile application at the beginning of this year. By the end of this year it is planned to provide our clients with a digital branch operating under the new concept. Work in this direction has already begun,” Zeynalov said.
Kapital Bank, being the legal successor of “Sberbank”, has more than 140 years of history of its activity in the banking business. The bank is a member of PASHA Holding Group of Companies. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
