For the first time in many years, Mykolaiv region will receive over UAH 1 billion from the Road Fund for road repairs, Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan said during a briefing in Mykolaiv.
“This year over UAH 50 billion from different sources, including UAH 32 billion from the Road Fund, will be provided for the repair of roads in Ukraine. More than UAH 1 billion will be allocated for Mykolaiv region. If the region works well, then we will reallocate the funds, and Mykolaiv region will receive additional funding from those regions that work poorly,” Omelyan said.
According to him, the Infrastructure Ministry will monitor that state funds are used to the full, and the region receives high-quality roads at a competitive market price. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
