Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport served 155.7 thousand passengers in March, up by 55.6% YoY (99.4 thousand), the airport’s press service reports.
The number of passengers served on international flights totaled 149.4 thousand (92.8 thousand in 2017), and domestic flights – 6.3 thousand (6.6 thousand).
The number of flights in March included 1,975 both arrivals and departures, up by 29.8% YoY, including 1,611 international flights and 364 domestic flights.
The most popular international destinations in March were Dubai (UAE), Minsk (Belarus), Ankara (Turkey), Warsaw (Poland), Budapest (Hungary), Memmingen (Germany) and Rome (Italy). Among domestic flights, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia and Lviv were in the lead. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
