In January-April Azerbaijan decreased wheat imports by 47.6% YoY, to 261.1 thousand tons, the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan declared.
According to the statistics figures, the general cost of imported wheat to the country totaled $48.461 million (down by 48.1%).
In the reporting period Azerbaijan imported 32.19 thousand tons of vegetable oils (down by 30.1%) at the sum of $29.673 million (down by 21.5%).
In addition, in January-April Azerbaijan exported 2.66 thousand tons of vegetable oils (down by 2.5%) at $3.49 million (up by 5.1%). (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
