As of early February, 772.522 KMT of wheat was supplied from Ukraine to the EU under the duty-free export quota (80.5% of the quota’s total volume).
The 450 KMT corn export quota was used up completely. 18.8 KMT of barley was supplied under the export quota, or 7% of its total volume.
Noteworthy is that the EU Committee for grains increased the 2017 import quota for Ukrainian wheat to 960 KMT (950 KMT in 2016), that for barley to 270 KMT (250 KMT) and the corn quota to 450 KMT (400 KMT in 2016). (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
