The economic growth of Estonia in 2017 will be slower than previously expected, Swedbank economists have announced lowering their previous economic forecast for the Baltic country by 0.2% to 2.2%.
The economists have at the same time raised their forecast for gross domestic product increase in 2018 by 0.3% to 2.8%.
They expect that household consumption is to grow by 3% this year and by 3.8% in 2018, while consumer prices are expected to grow by 3% in 2017 and by 2.7% next year.
The exports of goods and services could grow by 3.5% this year and by 3.7% next year, while the imports are expected to increase faster by 5% in 2017 and by 4.5% in 2018. (BNN/Business World Magazine)
