The official representative of Mitsubishi Motors in Ukraine informed the National Police about an almost 14% discount from the initial price of Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV cars that were to be supplied to the police under the program of cooperation between the Japanese and Ukrainian governments in the law enforcement sector, Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has said.
“I am glad to inform that Head of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation Mr. Osamu Masuko agreed to take into consideration my appeal on the possibility of optimizing the cost of Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV for the Ukrainian police due to the special situation in the country and expressed readiness to give a discount. The servicing center of the National Police received a letter from the official representative of Mitsubishi Motors in Ukraine regarding the provision of a discount of up to 14% of the initial cost of the project”, Avakov wrote on his Facebook page.
He said that the National Police had a chance of buying around 101 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV valued at 958.441 million UAH provided to Ukraine under the Kyoto protocol.
The minister said that the final price would be set in the near term after amending the contract and the new number of cars. (Interfax/Business World Magazine)
