According to the official customs statistics, in November Ukraine exported 80.5 thousand tons of sunflower seed, down by 3% YoY (83.3 thousand tons), which became a record result of monthly shipment for 6 recent seasons.
In the reporting month France (47% of the general exports), Spain (21%) and the Netherlands (18%) were the main countries-importers of Ukrainian sunflower seed.
During three months of 2016/2017 MY (September-November) Ukraine exported 142.7 thousand tons of sunflower seed, up 9 times YoY (15.9 thousand tons). (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
