Nordica airline, which was founded in 2015 by the Estonian state, released on December 15, the estimate that it would transport about 400,000 passengers in its first full year of operation.
The company’s communications manager Piret Sauter said that over the last few months, Nordica had transported more passengers than any other airline at Tallinn airport.
Recently, the Nordica changed its partner airlines from Slovenian Adria Airways to Polish LOT, which also meant switching sales platforms.
Estonian airline’s CEO Jaan Tamm evaluated that the company’s first months had been difficult, but he considered the way the company developed a good achievement, insisting that normally building a commercial airline took a longer time. (BNN/Business World Magazine)
