The decision on allocation of additional funding in the amount of 15-20 billion UAH for the road sector will be made in 2017, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said.
“This year 10 times more roads have been built than in 2015. Not 10% but 10 times more, and I emphasize the decision on allocation of an additional 15-20 billion UAH for road construction will be made in 2017”, he said during a visit to the town of Chortkiv in Ternopil region.
The president also announced an agreement with the authorities of Ternopil region on allocation of at least 500 million UAH next year for road development in the region.
The Bloc of Petro Poroshenko party faction prepared proposals to the draft law on the national budget of Ukraine for 2017, which will allow saving about 20.5 billion UAH of state budget expenditures for servicing public debt and using these funds for the development of a network of public roads.
