Ukraine produced 10.8 KMT of mayonnaise in October, up b 1.1 KMT (11%) MoM.
At the same time, its production contracted by 0.6 KMT (5.3%) YoY (11.4 KMT). In total, the fat-and-oil industry has produced 99.8 KMT of mayonnaise in 2016 against 100.8 KMT at the same time last year (down by less than 1%).
Analysts still believe an upward trend has taken shape in the mayonnaise market’s capacity despite a lag behind 2015. The last months of the calendar year, when mayonnaise production traditionally surges, will be decisive in this respect. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
