In the current year, the general grain harvest in Kazakhstan totaled 21.5 million tons in clean weight, the Vice Minister of Agriculture Gulmira Isayeva declared.
Earlier the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan forecast the harvest volumes at the level of 23.68 million tons, including 17.8 million tons of wheat, 3.3 million tons of barley, 502.6 thousand tons of rice, and 347 thousand tons of oats. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
