Since the beginning of 2016/2017 MY, Ukraine exported 16.8 million tons of grains, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine declared, referring to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
In particular, wheat exports totaled 9.5 million tons, corn – 3.2 million tons, and barley – nearly 4 million tons. Also, wheat flour exports reached 131 thousand tons, and flour from other grains – 0.4 thousand tons.
According to the announcement, in 2015/2016 MY Ukraine supplied the record volumes of grains to foreign markets – 39.4 million tons. The ministry forecasts the export volumes in the current season at 41 million tons of grains. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
