On October 11-21, lowering of air temperatures and night frosts (-4-6 degrees C) were observed in the South and South-East of Kazakhstan, accompanied by excessive precipitations.
Such meteorological conditions delayed fields’ preparation and winter wheat sowing in the Southern fields.
At the early winter wheat sowings in Almaty and Zhambyl regions the phase of germination and emergence is noted. Sowings condition is mainly good and satisfactory in some places. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
