The share of sunflower oil in the structure of Ukrainian vegetable oils production is nearly 96%. In this regard, it’s logical that the majority of population prefers sunflower oil.
It should be noted that total consumption of vegetable oils by population of Ukraine has decreased over the past year.
Statistics show that in H1 the amount of vegetable oil retail sales decreased by 1.6% YoY. Sales per capita also dropped, despite the fact that average vegetable oil prices strengthened. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
