The Caspian flotilla ships Volgodonsk and Makhachkala within the strike grouping have performed artillery firings in the assigned zones of the Caspian Sea at the strategic command-and-staff exercise “Caucasus-2016”, the press center of RF Defense Ministry reported.
The ships also repelled attacks of simulated enemy surface ships.
Besides that crews practiced air defense in movement and on the roadstead, used light communication means, carried out damage control activities. (Portnews/Business World Magazine)
