According to preliminary figures of the association Ukroliyaprom, in 2015/2016 MY the production and export volumes of sunflower oil in Ukraine increased by 10% to 4.85 million tons and 4.4 million tons respectively, the press-service of the Association declared.
According to the announcement, increasing of sunflower seed harvest in the country caused the reporting growth rates of sunflower oil. The Association reminded that in 2014/2015 MY Ukraine produced 4.4 million tons of sunflower oil and exported 4 million tons.
Also, in 2015/2016 MY Ukraine almost doubled sunflower oil exports to the European Union and shipped 1.36 million tons of the product to the region. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
